Look.... no pork means it's all right for me to eat it.

For goodness' sake.... that stall was fully certified by the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore. So how? Laughing

A name is just a name... as long as there's nothing in it that I can't eat, I can eat it. Just because it has the words 'char siew' in it, it doesn't mean I can't eat it. Just because it has the word 'beer' in it, it doesn't mean I can't drink it.

And of course I make sure the drink is non-alcoholic before I drink it. Laughing

love me tender, love me sweet?

hisoka SG

i read it as char siew, chicken rice mah Embarassed

laurence82 SG

i am reminded of mock char siew

i think its the same way as your chicken char siew

Well, I am reminded of when Burger King was first certified halal.

Several Muslims actually lodged complaints over the Turkey Bacon Double Burger. They claimed that the Islamic Religious Council had performed a gross act of negligence because the word 'bacon' implies that the burger contains pork.

Ignorance knows no bounds. Laughing

Turkey Bacon Double Burger is my favourite BK burger, by the way.

no fave in BK tho, coz i rarely eat there

but if i do, usually its turkey bacon, rendang or mushroom swiss

and also whopper

i think can ask for some extra large whopper right? i used to do that with my jc friends, but i forgot what is the name of it and its not on the menu, must specially request for it

Fatum SG

when it comes to burgerking, there's only mushroom swiss ......

but .... I can't find them here ......

so ... my current standard issue is the triple whooper .... three stacked patties with extra cheese and bacon .... Mr. Green

tare SG

gog to BK only means mushroom swiss Mr. Green

fudgester SG

Why does everyone love mushroom swiss? I don't find anything spectacular with it.

Or is it just me? Laughing

laurence82 SG

its just you

i had mushroom cheese with egg prata at prata hse yesterday with they all

shiookkkkk

Fatum SG

beats me too ... that burger is pure sin ... with no lettuce or tomato slices to at least assuage the guilt a bit .... Laughing

but I think it's the swiss cheese ... in other burgers they just put in plain old cheddar ..

fudgester SG

Oh ok.... it's just me. Crying or Very sad

Anyway, it's time for me to go now. I've got a tutorial at 1, and the location is quite some distance away from where I am now.

See ya all later.

*me mysteriously disappears in a hail of grated swiss cheese* Mr. Green
